Affiliate Disclosure
How this site makes money
This site is free to use. It may earn a commission when a reader clicks one of our two provider links, RocketCert or At Your Pace Online (TradesmanCE), and enrolls in a course. This never changes the price you pay. We do not accept payment to rank a provider higher, and we do not hide this arrangement anywhere on the site.
This disclosure follows the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising, 16 CFR Part 255, which requires a clear and conspicuous statement whenever a material connection exists between a publisher and the products or services it recommends. Every page that links to a provider carries a short reminder of this arrangement, and this page is the full statement.
Which providers may pay this site a commission
RocketCert and At Your Pace Online (TradesmanCE) are the two providers this site may earn a commission from. A provider is only linked here if it appears on TDLR's own approved-provider roster for HVAC/ACR or electrician continuing education; we do not add a provider solely because it offers a commission.
When you click an outbound link to one of these two providers, the link may pass a tracking code that credits this site if you enroll. This does not change the price you pay. Each such link is marked in this site's underlying markup with rel="sponsored", the attribute search engines use to identify the link as paid or affiliate. Every other provider listed on approved providers carries no affiliate relationship with this site at all.
What this means for you
Our compensation does not change the price you pay a provider, and it does not change the factual TDLR requirement information this site publishes about experience hours, exam requirements, fees, or which provider is on TDLR's own approved roster. The regulator, fee, and hour figures on this site come from TDLR's own published rules and are the same whether or not you click a link to a provider that pays us a commission.
We are not TDLR, and we are not RocketCert, At Your Pace Online, or any other provider we list. See about for what this site is and how it is different from both TDLR and the providers it links to.
Questions about this disclosure
This site does not currently operate a public contact channel. A question about your own license application or renewal belongs with TDLR directly through tdlr.texas.gov; a question about a specific provider's course belongs with that provider.
